The Dermaforce technology uses Bi-Polar Radio Frequency (RF) delivered directly into the skin at the end point of the needles. Bipolar RF utilises symmetric and closely placed electrodes (needles) to pass the radio frequency current through a exact targetted depth of tissue. This delivers a very controlled emission of Radio Frequency, targeting specific areas of tissue.

The Dermaforce tip houses gold plated microneedles measuring 0.12mm in diameter. Radio frequency is delivered at 1Mhz and used to precisely target tissues at different depths into the skin. The Radio Frequency heats the collagen fibers in the dermis to 55℃-65℃. This damage stimulates a fibroblast action (fibroblasts are the connective tissue cells that produce collagen and elastin) which results in the production of new collagen and an increase in the diameter of the collagen fibres.

This can effectively improve skin problems such as lines and wrinkles, prematurely aged skin, crepey skin, scarring and stretch marks. Delivering the radio frequency into the deep dermis will have a destructive effect on the Propionibacterium acnes and give an anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effect. It can also effectively inhibit the secretion of sebaceous glands and help prevent the recurrence of congestion within the skin.
